I bought myself a crochet pattern-a-day calendar for sale at B&N! I decided to use the March 10 pattern of tiny dolls and came up with the genius idea of making the South Park characters for my sister. I already had plenty of bright orange yarn for Kenny's snowjacket. But no peachy-skin color. Michael's to the rescue! Plus I needed smaller needles. Alas I could not find any D, so E would do. The best skin color I could do was off-white (which is actually the same shade as the one I had for my cupcake, oops) so I went home and plopped down to try to make some heads.Oh how horrible the first one came out. The second one was bigger though the same number of stitches except with chains to start each round. Blarg. This is not human, I cried! So I placed them on top of each other and went aha! And created the snowman you see above. I started the scarf off too wide but I used this lovely yarn named Blueberry Pie. I was listening to Twisted Sister's Twisted Christmas album when I finished :)
My hand hurts! I crochet really weirdly I think.
